Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellation Policy: Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio upholds a firm 36-hour cancellation policy. If a session is canceled less than 36 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the full cost of the session is forfeited. Bodhi Work will offer an opportunity to reschedule the appointment, but no refunds will be issued.
In the event that Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio needs to cancel an appointment, clients will be promptly informed and given the choice to either reschedule or receive a full refund.
Rescheduling Policy: Clients needing to reschedule an appointment with less than 36 hours' notice will incur a rescheduling fee. This fee varies depending on the duration of the originally booked session:
For a 30-minute session: $20
For a 60-minute session: $40
For a 75-minute session: $50
For a 90-minute session: $60
For a 120-minute session: $80
For a 180-minute session: $120
These rescheduling fees are fixed and will be charged to the client at thet time of rescheduling.
At Bodhi Work, our cancellation fees are in place to support the livelihood of our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs). These fees are designed to compensate the therapist for their time, as they are only paid when a service is provided. As a small business, this policy ensures that we can continue to offer competitive, livable wages to our team of highly skilled professionals. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a sustainable environment for both our clients and therapists.
No-Refund Clause for Rescheduled Appointments:
If an appointment has been rescheduled once, our standard thirty-six (36) hour cancellation policy will no longer apply. Should you then choose to cancel the rescheduled appointment, please note that no refunds will be provided.
TARDY & NO-SHOW POLICY:
You are encouraged to arrive five (5) to ten (10) minutes prior to your session. Please understand that your appointment begins at the time it is scheduled for, not the time of your arrival. Tardiness directly impacts the length of your session; our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) are under no obligation to extend the service time for late arrivals. If you arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes late without notice, service will be refused and you forfeit 100% of your prepaid service. If notice of late arrival is provided, your LMT reserves the right to decline service if the delay exceeds fifteen (15) minutes. Each situation will be evaluated individually, in accordance with the session's scheduled duration. The opportunity to reschedule will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Chronic tardiness will result in termination of future services.
Clients who do not show up for their appointments forfeit 100% of their prepaid service and will be terminated from receiving future services.
SEXUAL MISCONDUCT POLICY:
I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Sexual harassment or other forms of harassment are not tolerated. Bodhi Work contractors reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or end a session immediately if the therapist feels threatened or compromised, or if any of the conditions herein are compromised; with no refund, 100% forfeiture of prepaid service.
Inappropriate Solicitation will result in you being permanently banned and reported to the Ann Arbor Police Department; and Civil legal action.
MARKETING POLICY:
By Scheduling an appointment you are automatically added to our emailing list in order to receive communications from Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio regarding studio updates, closures, events, etc. It is your responsibility to unsubscribe from this mailing list.
REFUND POLICY: No refunds are provided for the following:
Late Cancellations
Cancellation of a Rescheduled Appointment
No Call No Shows
Tardy Arrivals.
Inappropriate Solicitation or Rude Behavior
Individual Appointments: Refunds for individual appointments are submitted for processing through Square within twenty-four (24) hours. Deposit of refund can take two (2) to seven (7) business days.
TERMS & CONIDITIONS FOR PACKAGES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Purchases and appointments made at Bodhi Work Downtown are only eligible for services at our downtown location.
Purchases and appointments made at Bodhi Work Valor S/P are only eligable for services at Valor S/P.
Gift Certificates: If you intend to surprise the recipient, please insert purchaser's information on the form and put recipients name in the comment section. To gift to your recipient, print or foward the electronic gift certificate that is automatically sent to your email
If you want the recipient to receive this immediately, please input their information on the form. An electronic gift certificate will be automatically emailed to them.
Student & Valor S/P Monthly Subscriptions: By subscribing to this monthly plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges to the specified credit or debit card. Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio is not liable for any bank overdraft fees. The subscription will continue until you submit a cancellation request in writing to info@bodhi-work.com, with a minimum of five days notice before the next payment date. Unused appointments will rollover to the next month. Any unused appointments will remain valid for 90 days; thereafter unused appointments are expired. Not eligable for refund.
Packages and Gift Certificates are NOT redeemable for cash,
Packages CANNOT be transferred to another person.
Gift Certificates and Package Sessions are subject to the same terms and conditions as individually priced appointments.

Packages and Invoices: Refunds for packages and invoices will be processed within thirty (30) business days of receipt of a written request.
