Bodhi Work was founded by Samantha (also known as SNO) as a solo-LMT business in December 2020. Driven by a passion for delivering highly skilled and professional massage therapy, Samantha is committed to offering not just exceptional service but an unparalleled experience from the moment you walk through the door. The studio has been carefully curated to evoke a sense of relaxation and tranquility.
Samantha's dedication to her craft is reflected in her extensive continuing education and her unwavering pursuit of excellence. She specializes in Thai Massage, the catalyst for her massage career, as well as lymphatic drainage. Recognizing a scarcity of authentic Thai Massage in the area, she aimed to create a reliable destination for those seeking this specialized service.
As demand for her services grew, Samantha expanded Bodhi Work to keep pace. This journey has had its challenges, but the rewards have been significant. Samantha is now focused on scaling the business to provide both emerging and seasoned massage therapists with a reliable and comfortable environment in which to practice.

We operate as a fully prepaid service, which helps us avoid no-shows and ensures a smoother process for everyone. It’s much simpler to issue a refund than to chase after a late cancellation or a no-show.
This policy also safeguards our therapists. Unfortunately, the massage industry can attract undesirable individuals (predators), and our policies are designed to deter such bookings.
Additionally, this approach allows us to prioritize clients who wish to work with a particular LMT on a regular basis, guaranteeing them their preferred date and time.

As a small, service-based business, we rely on providing services to generate income—if we don't perform a service, we don't get paid. When a late cancellation or rescheduling occurs, it's not guaranteed that the appointment slot will be filled, leading to lost income for our therapists.
To account for this, we assess a fee for late rescheduling, which directly compensates the Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for their time and potential lost income. These fees are allocated 100% to the LMT you originally booked with. The same principle applies to late cancellations; however, in that case, you forfeit 100% of your paid appointment, as it’s unlikely the slot can be filled on short notice.
Cancellation Policy: Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio upholds a firm 36-hour cancellation policy. If a session is canceled less than 36 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the full cost of the session is forfeited. Bodhi Work will offer an opportunity to reschedule the appointment, but no refunds will be issued.
In the event that Bodhi Work Massage Therapy Studio needs to cancel an appointment, clients will be promptly informed and given the choice to either reschedule or receive a full refund.
Rescheduling Policy: Clients needing to reschedule an appointment with less than 36 hours' notice will incur a rescheduling fee. This fee varies depending on the duration of the originally booked session:
For a 30-minute session: $20
For a 60-minute session: $40
For a 75-minute session: $50
For a 90-minute session: $60
For a 120-minute session: $80
For a 180-minute session: $120
These rescheduling fees are fixed and will be charged to the client's payment method on file.
No-Refund Clause for Rescheduled Appointments:
If an appointment has been rescheduled once, our standard thirty-six (36) hour cancellation policy will no longer apply. Should you then choose to cancel the rescheduled appointment, please note that no refunds will be provided. -
Yes! We offer a two-hour parking validation sticker for either the Maynard Garage or the Liberty Square Garage in downtown Ann Arbor. We value your time and want to ensure that you arrive promptly, so you can fully enjoy every minute of your session without worrying about parking.
